Hidden Obsession plot

Ellen Carlyle, a beautiful TV presenter, is enjoying a well-deserved vacation in her cabin in the woods. She learns over the radio that a dangerous serial killer is roaming the neighborhood. She is relieved to discover that the sheriff, Ben Scanlon, to whom she is immediately attracted, is her neighbor. However, her relief is short-lived.
