Gunrush plot

Driving instructor Doug Becket (Timothy Spall)'s life takes a dramatic turn when his 14-year-old daughter Emma is shot and killed in cold blood before his eyes while shopping. The perpetrator and his companion, still two teenagers, manage to escape in the confusion. This form of senseless violence is also known as 'Gunrush', a kind of fetishism for the firearm. During the murder investigation, the police encounter a wall of silence, so that no progress is made. Meanwhile, Doug embarks on a personal search for the culprit to exact revenge. He gets help from the crack addict Earl, who quickly finds the culprit.
