"Will she have the power... to survive?"
Andrew and Vicky McGee meet during an experiment where they earn money by acting as guinea pigs. The experiment is shrouded in mystery and suspicion and seems to involve mental abilities. They marry and have a daughter Charlie, who has the talent to start fires just by thinking about it. This one is a bit cheesy, but still, this is absolutely great over-the-top-80s-fun. Little forgotten now I follow this Stephen King film adaptation, with Drew Barrymore just after ET That cute sister of Elliot was already heavily on coke and was pretty much the shock of Hollywood at the time.
