Dusk plot

John Whitmore wakes up one morning to find that his wife Anne is no longer next to him. In her place, he finds a recorded ransom message. The mysterious recording instructs John to contact a man named David. He will lead John and the ransom to a cottage deep in the woods, where he will be reunited with his wife. When John tries to remember the night before, he begins to doubt David's motives and the whole situation.
