Devil's Island plot
"A Drama of Inhuman Cruelty!"
As a respected and conscientious brain surgeon Dr. Gaudet operates on a wounded revolutionary, he is not thanked by the government. He is arrested and sentenced to imprisonment in the penal colony of Devil's Island. There he rebels against the inhumane living conditions and the abuse of power of the commander Colonel Lucien.
