Crushed Velvet plot

Dusty Velvet's husband is called up by the army where the chance of survival is quite small because there is a major war raging in Iraq and Iran. The only way to get him back is to buy him back from the military for $500,000. On TV there is a new reality show where each contestant has to stay in a locked room for six days, with nothing but a bed, table and toilet and where cameras follow the contestants for 24 hours with a million dollars for the winner. When Dusty is chosen, she quickly becomes the new American idol through her performance in the room. However, after a long time in the isolated darkness, things suddenly take a terrible turn.
