Candiland plot

"There is no time in here"

Peter is a man who can forget his professional tennis career after a serious car accident. He is angry with the world, but also with his father, who abandoned his mother when she was dying. One evening, when Peter is looking for a moment of peace, he goes to a bar. He meets Tess, a lonely divorcee. The two find comfort in each other and a love affair develops. When it turns out that Tess is still having a lot of trouble with her divorce, Peter makes her an offer. The two isolate themselves in Peter's apartment and create their own world: Candiland.
