I am really jealous of people who can still make a good movie out of this. If there ever was a B-movie, it is this monstrosity.
And as for the acting, guys, find another job and don't pursue it further because it won't work... quite a lot is being produced these days, after all...

Director Steven Quale's latest horror project is infectious for a long time thanks to a decent, reasonably cosmic build-up. The mystery isn't handed over immediately, while the sense of threat is nicely established within an interesting setting. You can easily forgive the mediocre acting and cardboard dialogue, but once Quale reveals what is going on, Black Box quickly collapses. A number of dull confrontations with the antagonist and a rather unmemorable finale subsequently complete the justification for an average score.
