The bourgeois life of Randolph Tiefenthaler seems to be crowned with the purchase of a beautiful old Berlin mansion. The architect and his family are aware of no harm when Mr. Tiberius from the basement apartment puts cake in front of the door on moving day. But it doesn't take long before the neighbor starts acting creepy.
