"Passion. Betrayal. Murder."
The insufferable actress Susan Gittes, star of many an erotic thriller, feels that she is being chased by her fans and is arguing with her producer about this. During a shooting break for the film, she retires to a hotel and has no idea that her producer is dead in her trailer. While the police are looking for her, she meets the nearly married salesman Paul and begins an affair with him. However, the chases then explode in full force and are more terrifying than ever. When the lifeless body of Gail, Paul's betrothed, is found, the accusing finger points again at Susan.
