Poseidon Rex plot
"Half Dinosaur, Half Sea Monster, All Trouble"
Jackson Slate, a famous treasure hunter, searches for the legendary lost gold of Cortez on a remote island in the Caribbean Sea. Using dynamite, he tries to make his way through ancient silt on the seabed. However, it also frees an ancient evil that destroys Jackson's boat and kills his crew. The lone survivor of the massacre, Jackson returns to the site with marine biologist Sarah to investigate the cause of the horrific event. They retrieve an egg from the darkest depths of the ocean and take it to the lab to examine it. But when the egg breaks open, they realize a deadly prehistoric monster has awakened, the P-Rex, that won't stop until the entire island is destroyed.
