"If only the end of the world can save him."
After losing his family, ex-politician Jack Coleman becomes addicted to drink and drugs, turning his life upside down. Then he is visited by his brother, a colonel in the air force, who tells him that a massive attack on land is about to take place, which will mean the end of the present world. It is Jack's job to protect his brother's wife and daughter during the coming apocalypse. This forces Jack to overcome his addiction.
