An epidemic has wiped out most of the world's population. Cino and Dora have retired to an abandoned house on the coast. Cino tries to convince Dora that he wants a child. But Dora categorically refuses. Cino decides to give Dora drugs. When she realizes she is pregnant, she becomes brutal and violent.
