Escapement plot

"SWEET-FLESHED BEAUTY BECOMES DOCILE OF DEMONIACAL MONSTER!"

Jeff Keenan, an insurance agent, investigates a car accident in southern France that killed movie star Clark Denver. He discovers that Denver, and two other victims of mysterious deaths, knew Verna Berteaux. Also, all the deaths were patients of a private psychiatric clinic where they underwent electronic dream therapy. What do these deaths have to do with this therapy and the owner of the clinic?
