Eight years after a violent meteor shower, the survivors live underground. Sam, a man who lost his son in the disaster, is one of them. Together with his friend Troy, the young woman Rose, and a group of heavily armed individuals, Sam is forced to fight against mutated creatures and cannibals. Meanwhile, Sam and the others try to get above ground again.
