A romantic comedy. The plot is not really likely, but it was well thought out: the wedding planner is faced with an impossible dilemma, whether to stay professional or follow her heart...... She is an expert at organizing weddings, but not so good at it. organizing her own love life. And then the family gets involved too! The roles are a bit exaggerated and slightly dull. But that's part and parcel of this type of film. Don't expect a masterpiece, it's just a feel good movie for a pleasant evening!

This is nothing at all. Beforehand my girlfriend already said: I wonder where one of the characters at the end of the film will rush to: the airport, the bus, or a church? It turns out to be the town hall. The starting point is of course typical, of the level of midwife who falls for the father-to-be. The male protagonist is wrong here as far as I'm concerned, because even if nothing happens on a date and you don't plan to anymore, it's nice to at least report that you have a girlfriend. In the end, of course, after unlikely complications such as accepting a marriage proposal from someone she barely knows just because he built a beautiful dollhouse, two marriages that don't go through and the previously mentioned race to town hall.

Visually also not a bag, music is not great, but is very well synchronized with the images and unfortunately you don't see that often. Not the absolute minimum for that reason. 1*.

uh.

When I saw the name Lopez on the poster, I already had my doubts, because that woman never seems to choose a decent project despite her motivation. Nevertheless, she is a lot more subtle and stronger here than she normally does. McConaughey could have at least pulled them on, apparently.

The Wedding Planner is a movie that has a downside because it feels so wrong, but instead of turning it into an advantage, this movie maintains the tone that the morals of the characters are good. Then call me a loser, but if you cheat on me, forgiveness is long gone. Especially if you're about to marry the other, then you're simply in too extreme terrain. For Shankman, that's hardly a problem, because the film apparently still finds a perfect smile in every broken teeth. .

Acting is above average and the chemistry may be there, but you can expect that when you attract an actor like McConaughey. Doesn't quite fit into this movie, but it handles it well. The other performances are also worth mentioning, whereby the actors can ultimately realize a pleasant and smooth viewing experience. Sometimes take a nice build-up of the background and you don't have a tiring experience.

An experience that I sometimes find shocking in his way of thinking. It is therefore difficult for me to have real patience or sympathy for the situations in which the characters find themselves here. As far as I'm concerned, they owe all the misery they experience to themselves, and sympathizing with them in their adventure and then crawling out of it is completely lost to me. Too bad, because that detracts a lot from the still fairly stable end result.
