Starting Over plot

Liz Dewhorst blames her husband Gregor for the fatal accident of her beloved brother Simon and wants Gregor to leave. Liz's best friend Mary Phillips, who has had a crush on Gregor for a long time, jumps at her chance. Liz, on the other hand, is attracted to the charming Peter Rossen, a visiting professor of her son Alex at the nearby university.
