Nur ein Sommer plot

Eva, a 35-year-old mother, is ready with her bags to leave Eberswalde, a town in East Germany. She has no choice because all the decent jobs in the city have already been filled; yet her friend Marco does not like to see her leave. Eva has just received a job offer in the Swiss Alps, where she will be working for farmer Daniel for three months. Daniel seems highly skeptical of Eve's performance at first glance. But since his wife has left him, he can't handle the work alone and wants to give her a chance. Eva puts her best foot forward and shows a lot of interest in the art of cheese making. Gradually, Daniel and Eva get to know each other better and grow closer by the day. But then Marco is at the door.
