Kulkurin Valssi plot

In Saint Petersburg in 1830, Arnold, a Finnish baron, plays a card game with a Russian officer. Arnold wins, much to the officer's frustration, partly aggravated by his crush on Arnold's girlfriend. A duel ensues, which Arnold wins, causing him to chase the Russians. He flees to Finland and goes into hiding with a group of gypsies. Will he be able to return to his life as a baron?
