Goldstaub plot

When the Wall falls in 1989, the East Berliner Kerstin (Corinna Harfouch) finally comes out of her father's yoke. The man, who worked for the East German secret service, had quite a bit of influence on her life. She meets the West Berlin alcoholic Reginald (Götz Schubert) and the two have something beautiful together. Then Kerstin notices that her father is still meddling in her life in the background.
