First Love plot
Jim is a senior running for a scholarship. When he meets Ann, they fall for each other. Romantic coming-of-age film about Jim and his 1st love Ann. I only wanted to watch the film to check if Hero Fiennes Tiffin can also play someone other than Hardin..... Well, he didn't do badly, although after four After-movies that role of Hardin is hard to remember goes off. The subject of the film was not badly chosen, but deserved much more elaboration. Furthermore, there were too many sidelines in the plot, which interfered with the mainline's attention. So I don't like the script of the movie. In addition, the chemistry between the two protagonists was unfortunately also very meager. Then it was 1000x better in the After movies. The movie was way too good and a bit on the long side. As much as I want to find this film sufficient, I can only conclude that it is a dime-a-dozen film. I wouldn't go to the cinema for it..... Shame about the missed opportunity!
