Fábula de la Bella Palomera plot

Brazil 1892. Don Orestes is a prominent, influential rum baron. Although he is already middle-aged, he still lives with his mother. He is very vain and spends much of his time in front of the mirror. It is someone who usually gets what he wants whether it be objects or persons. One day he meets Fulvia, a beautiful young woman who keeps pigeons. Problem, Fulvia is happily married and has one child. As a thank you for his help, Fulvia gives him a carrier pigeon. Don Orestes uses the dove to send her romantic letters. Fulvia ignores his advances. The increasingly unhappy Don Orestes is willing to go to any lengths to win her over, and it has consequences. Film based on a short story by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.
