Die Sonnengöttin plot

Richard Todd, a New York film critic, is working on a book about FW Murnau, Germany's greatest silent film director. To see Murnau's films again, Richard travels to Berlin. There he has a meeting with Martha. He got to know her in America, they fell in love but Martha left for Germany. They find that their feelings have not changed as a result of the divorce. When visiting Murnau's grave, their attention is drawn to a statuette on a neighboring grave. It is a replica of the Sun Goddess of Akrotiri.
