Black Jack is a smart and cheating gambler who makes unsuspecting victims wherever he goes. After he has knocked the money out of the pockets of his fellow players in a poker game, he is chased out of town. Along the way he meets Nancy Blake who owns one piece of a dollar shot into three pieces, Black Jack owns the second piece. When the total of three pieces are put together, the location of a lost gold mine is revealed. The third part of the coin is in the hands of a cattle thief who does everything he can to get his hands on the pieces.
