August Creek plot
After her husband Seth was killed on a combat mission, Erica moved to Chicago to get away and make a fresh start. Now, three years later, she returns home with her new boyfriend, Marc, to be a bridesmaid at her sister's wedding. The future couple has different views on how the wedding should go. Therefore, Erica and Nate, the groom's best man, have to figure out how to solve all the practicalities. At the same time, Erica must deal with old feelings of grief after Seth and unresolved issues with Nate, who used to be their best friend.
