Shuto Shôshitsu plot
Tokyo is suddenly covered by a gigantic, dome-shaped electromagnetic cloud for no reason. The city is therefore completely isolated from the rest of the country and the world. Below the cloud the temperature is slowly rising and on top of it the Soviet Union fleet is approaching. The US orders Japan to form a new government. Scientists and researchers outside Tokyo are working overtime, racing against time to find out how to break through the cloud. The fate of Japan and the more than 12 million inhabitants of Tokyo are at stake!
