Midnight Crossing plot
"In a storm of desire, deception and murder... four people are about to be swept away."
In 1959, an American sailor hides a large amount of money on an island 35 miles off the coast of Cuba. Forty years later, young Jeffrey Schubb struggles to earn money from his father's yacht. In a bar he meets his wife's boss, Morely Barton, who tells him the story about the money he hid years ago. He offers to share the loot with Jeffrey, who now has the coordinates of the treasure in his hands. But Barton and Jeffrey's wife Alexa have made plans to run off together, along with the money.
