Guilty as Hell plot
"Hidden hands ended her life! Whose were they?"
The respectable Dr. Ernest S. Tindall kills his adulterous wife Ruth. Tindall manages to manipulate the evidence in such a way that the police are convinced that Ruth's lover Frank Marsh is the culprit. Inspector McKinley wants to close the murder case, but journalist Russell Kirk, who is in love with Marsh's sister Vera, suspects there is more going on than meets the eye and investigates himself.
