Cronaca Nera plot

The story is set in 1986, in the Italian province of Emilia-Romagna. Saleswoman Lori is introduced to the better circles of the town by an unreliable lady. Five years later, Lori is the respectable, yet misunderstood, wife of the wealthy Dr. pozzi. At a party she meets Roberto Sacchi, a smooth lawyer, with whom she soon has an affair. One day Pozzi is murdered and given her background Lori is immediately seen as the prime suspect. Sacchi will take on her defense.
