A Lady Possessed plot
"LOVE...that fed on darkness and fear!"
In a nursing home in London, the happily married American Jean Wilson is being treated for lack of self-confidence. She overhears a conversation from the famous concert pianist Jimmy del Palma, who has a serious conversation with hospital management about his wife, who is out of treatment. She dies not long afterwards. When Jean has recovered, she rents the house from De Palma and his deceased wife. Jean doesn't know why, but she falls in love with the absent De Palma. And knowing more about the death of his wife, she dreams about taking her place. Looks like Jean's dreams are coming true.
