Former entertainer Shep Dooley is a sergeant with the GI He awaits his discharge from the army in post-war Tokyo. But then he meets his ex-girlfriend Kay Hudson, who comes to perform for the troops. Shep, who is still in love with Kay, tries to hit on her again. This time, however, Shep has to deal with his many maids, who also court Kay.
