The Monkey's Paw plot

The story is set in a remote European village where Mr and Mrs White accidentally obtain a mummified claw. They don't know from what, a monkey or a lost and frozen human? After some deliberation, the owner of the claw appears to be allowed to grant three wishes. Their first wish does not come as a surprise: a lot of money, since they are now penniless. And sure enough, the next day they receive a large sum of money, the policy of a life insurance.... it turns out that you don't get anything for nothing. The other two wishes will have to be used to correct this big mistake.
