The Final Rose plot
A young single mother arrives on a remote island. She participates in "Love at Last", a very popular dating show that airs on television. However, her search for love turns into a fight for survival. A mysterious killer is targeting the contestants and destroys them one by one.

A simplistic thriller film featuring a number of bloody murders and a whole host of clichéd, sentimental characters. For director Tim Cruz, it seems to be a competition in terms of how many familiar stereotypes he can cram into a single setting, who, to top it all off, often act poorly. On the other hand, there is a reasonably intriguing story with a decent pace. Characters drop like flies, and although the premise is given away early on, The Final Rose remains entertaining throughout. It isn't exactly a masterpiece, but it serves as a decent benchmark for the films appearing on networks like Tubi these days.
