The Confession plot

A struggling musician returns to her childhood home. There, she discovers a recording of her deceased father confessing to a gruesome murder he claims he committed to protect himself from an unknown evil force. As her young son exhibits increasingly disturbing behavior, she becomes increasingly desperate in her attempts to stop the evil.
