Resurrection plot

The inhabitants of a small village eat genetically modified maize. It soon turns out that eating the corn causes them to go completely nuts. A group of students – who live in the village – return home after a short vacation. Upon arrival, they are confronted by the murderous, crazy residents. Meanwhile, a scientist investigates the case. He discovers a conspiracy and tries to prevent the epidemic from spreading further.
