Purple Glow plot

Astronomers around the world are scanning the sky for a meteor that is about to reach Earth. A group of campers decide to head into the woods to look for debris from the meteor before the authorities catch them first. When one of the campers touches the meteor, she turns into a monster and feels the need to eat human flesh.
