"Bad Things Will Happen"

When Jess, a rebellious teenager, moves to a remote island, he befriends Alex. Alex is a naive and innocent young woman, but smart. She warns Jess about the strict rules on the island, including the curfew, which prevent residents from leaving their homes after sunset. The curfew is enforced by the Patrol Men; a group of militants hiding behind gas masks. However, Jess decides to test the rules by staying out after dark. Jess is never seen again after this. Distraught and even lonelier than before, Alex sets out to investigate Jess' disappearance. What follows is an adventure that throws Alex from the comfort of everyday life into the depths of the darkness of a corrupt island. Why are we afraid of the dark? And who are the Patrol Men?
