Nervures plot
When Isabelle learns that her father, Maurice, is ill, she returns from Montreal to Saint-Étienne, a dilapidated forest village. Her mother, Thérèse, tells her that Maurice is, in fact, dead. Strange circumstances and her mother's unstable behavior raise disturbing suspicions. As the grisly events pile up, Isabelle unravels a Gothic mystery in which grief, madness, and family secrets intertwine.
