Mantopus! plot

In 1950s Hollywood, filmmaker Charles Landor makes horror films for Danziger Studios. Landor is known as the "Monster Man," but the studio head believes the director should focus on cowboy musicals. One night, a distraught Landor searches for inspiration and stumbles upon a mysterious antique shop where he discovers a real monster, a creature with a human body and an octopus head named Mantopus. Landor decides to use this creature in his next production—but he also decides to use it off-screen as an instrument of revenge against those who have slighted him or disobeyed his wishes.
