L'Altrove plot

Baghdad 1571. DR. John Dee asks the philosopher Al Caleb to translate some pages of the book "Necronomicon" from ancient Arabic into English. Arkham 500 years later: A copy of Necronomicon, the terrible book written by Abdul Alhazred that allows the reader to summon dark forces, is still in human hands. The survivors of the human race, on the brink of extinction, are waging a protracted war against the creatures of darkness, who live on in the bodies of their dead companions.
