My expectations were not that high, especially considering that I've seen a lot of such films, but also the standard' cover. But that made the film very enjoyable for me.

I thought it was an original concept, which suited me well. Partly because of the credibility of the actors. I do not share the opinion of most here. Although it is a mix of Insidious, Inception and exorcism films, it still managed to create an exciting film, which at times 'gets under your skin', gives such an oppressive feeling, especially as the film progresses. . Like being a character yourself.

Good advice to the people who still want to see this film: don't go by the cover, or by the reviews here on Moviemeter - except my own - but watch and judge for yourself! Definitely worth seeing and the film was very surprising to me! I do like this aforementioned 'mix'. Better stolen well than poorly conceived!

Well okay.

Incarnate is not the most original idea (demons and exorcism). But every now and then there is an original moment in it and that's why it comes out reasonably well.

Yes, there is definitely something missing from this movie. There is a shortage of tension and scares. Those are the elements that should be addressed in these films. This will give you a few bland moments. That's a shame, because the start was promising.

The film is no less boring, by the way. He looks nice as a snack and is therefore an ok film. Nice as a snack, high flyer? no.

"The exorcist meets Inception" is said here, but the exorcism part barely gives me the shivers, and the dreaming part would have benefited from some more The cell. It's not clear to me what the director and cast might have seen in this, why they thought it might fill a gap in the market, or how the studio could have hoped to make money from it. The developments of the last ten minutes are still nice and boost my rating in terms of stars, but in the end this is a film that doesn't give me any heat (and certainly doesn't make me shudder).
