Immersion plot

On a small southern island, there is a laboratory of a start-up technology company for a project called Shin-Sekai. Programmer Tomohiko Kataoka works on the advancement of virtual reality technology and neuroscience. Tomohiko begins to catch up on the research another programmer, Ide, has been working on. Then Tomohiko finds a strange red gate and sounds in the form of a person from the virtual world's data files. Imajo, a vengeful ghost, has cursed the island and dooms everyone with a violent drowning death.
