Gehrayee plot

Chennabasappa is a successful manager of a renowned plantation in Bangalore and lives with his spiritual and docile wife Saroja, his son Nandu and his daughter Uma. Chennabasappa wants to build a house for his family in Bangalore and needs money to do so. He decides to sell his plantation of several hectares to the owner of a soap factory. This area was maintained for many years by Basava, a faithful servant of his. But when the latter learns of Chennabasappa's intentions, he is not happy about it. In addition, his daughter Uma begins to behave extremely strangely. She performs terrible obscenities and even tries to seduce her brother. At his wits' end, he seeks out a psychiatrist to help the girl. Without result. His wife and son are beginning to believe more and more that supernatural elements are involved.
