"A neglected and naive teenage girl uses the internet to deceive people for gifts until she crosses the wrong person and things take a terrifying turn."

In the small town of Eden, Tennessee, a neglected and naive teenage girl named Clara Banks has made a habit of tricking people online for gifts, a ruse known as "catfishing." She thinks it's all fun and good until she catches the attention of the wrong person. Shortly afterwards, events spiral out of control when someone starts stalking Clara and her friends. As the consequences of her actions haunt her, bizarre messages appear at Clara's home, causing her to fear for her life. Will she ever feel safe again now that evil has knocked on her door?
