Crooked House plot

Young teacher Ben finds an old door knocker in the yard of his new home. According to the local museum manager, it comes from the recently demolished Geap Manor - a sinister old place with an unpleasant, dark past. In the eighteenth century, a haunting whisper gave a businessman nightmares there. In the 1920s, a couple living there faced a family scandal from a bygone era and a terrifying ghostly bride. Finally, Ben embarks on a quest into Geap Manor's blood-soaked past, which will lead to an encounter with its original owner, the diabolical Sir Roger Widdowson.
