Alligator X plot

"They said it was extinct. They were wrong."

When her father goes missing, divorced Laura LeCrois is forced to return home after 20 years. However, it is not at home as she remembered it. Her father has huge debts to the bank, her ex-boyfriend is the sheriff of the town and her ex-husband has quit his job as a world famous professor and is busy buying up wetlands. To help her family, she decides to organize boat trips in the Louisiana swamps. During her first boat trip, she and her passengers discover an alligator nest. However, it turns out that this is not an alligator, but a cloned Pliosaurus, also known as Predator X. The beast is an early ancestor of the alligator and is 50 meters long, very fast and equipped with a set of razor-sharp teeth. Laura will have to protect her passengers from this prehistoric predator.
