Une Trop Bruyante Solitude plot

Hanta is a baler at a waste paper business, destroying archives and pulping books. Among the literature are so-called masterpieces, philosophical essays, old prints and the like. Without realizing it, the printing ink has gotten under Hanta's skin and made him a human living in the realm of bygone writers and their characters. His world also consists of the animals that surround him and gypsies who bring him old paper. His boss has no sense of the culture destruction and chases Hanta like a tyrant to make production.
