Skazka plot
“Skazka” is a dantesque vision of the afterlife. But wait, are we in purgatory or in a paradoxical paradise reserved for illustrious men of world history? Mussolini, Stalin, Hitler, Churchill and others: they are all there. Since they only exist in archive footage, each figure appears in a series of images. In this inky political comedy, the fallen men beg to be let through the gates of heaven - but the angels peeping through the crack never open the doors all the way.
