"Since that day, their dreams became a window connecting two worlds."
In 1983 Ji-hwan, a high school teacher, becomes the victim of a pickpocket. In 2015, the homicide detective Gun-woo is shot at during a car chase and loses consciousness. Both men are taken to the same hospital at different time periods and are brought together by a mysterious force. This gives them a glimpse into each other's lives in their dreams and they realize that they love the same woman. The men realize they are in danger and they must work together to go back to the past to change fate.
