Young Maria (Sarah Jane Denalane) has been living with her mother since her parents' divorce, where she is not having a good time. Every night she flees into the fantasy world of her dreams, where she waits in vain for rescue. Then, however, she makes contact with a boy who is in a coma and who hopes for rescue as much as Maria herself.
